Sage Software Honored With SSPA Lifetime Achievement Award
For Outstanding Customer Satisfaction Levels

Sage is One of Only Five Companies to Receive the Award
 

Irvine, Calif. - October 22, 2001 - Sage Software has been honored with a Hall of Fame Lifetime Achievement Award from the Service & Support Professionals Association (SSPA) for consistently outstanding customer service. The award places Sage in the SSPA Hall of Fame, an accomplishment achieved by only four other companies. The Lifetime Achievement award is reserved for companies that have won five STAR (Software Technical Assistance Recognition) Awards since the program's inception in 1990. The award was presented to Sage at the SSPA's Horizons 2002 World Conference, Oct. 1, in Savanna, Ga.
 
 
The highly coveted STAR Award recognizes superior performance in the delivery of technical support to customers, and is widely considered the benchmark of customer service. Award entries are peer-reviewed. Sage has been honored with STAR Awards for five consecutive years. The company won in the Sustained Performance category in 1999 and 2000; the Electronic Support category, in recognition of its Sage On-line Support & Services Web site, in 1998; and another award in 1997 for achieving significant improvements from one year to the next.
 
This year, Sage competed and won in the Sustained Performance category for the third consecutive year. Winners in this category maintain consistently outstanding levels of overall customer support and satisfaction for at least three consecutive years. The judging process requires applicants to submit three years of data demonstrating sustained performance and how it contributed toward high customer satisfaction levels.
